On August 10th, Times 4 plays the Hedley Room in San Jose for the 2012 San Jose Jazz Festival.
Headlining artists this year include The Jazz Crusaders (with original members Joe Sample, Wayne Henderson and Wilton Felder), trumpeter Terence Blanchard, smooth jazz saxophonist Boney James, songstress Dianne Reeves, sax sensation Tia Fuller, and Ivan Neville's New Orleans-flavored R&B/funk ensemble Dumpstaphunk. And that's in addition to the scores of other local and nationally known artists on the roster. Come on out and enjoy the party! On Father's Day, Times 4 is playing Brunch at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. All ages are welcome. We had a great show there in April, and are looking forward to returning. The food is excellent, and the newly remodeled club is beautiful.

House Concert This Week! + Sweet Sunday Brunches in San Francisco!

You can still hear my quartet (minus me) playing Sunday Brunch at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District. This week the band features the ever-amazing Paul Eastburn (bass), Jeremy Hoenig (drums), Q Morrow (guitar), and Evan Francis (sax). This hotel puts out a pretty amazing spread. We'll be playing our own groovin' brand of jazz music for your dining pleasure. Come on out and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of good food, free flowing champagne, and some groovin' jazz. We got some great press this week promoting our show at the Hedley Room this Saturday on SanJose.com Also, Greg got selected 'Number 1 Electronic Keyboardist of the Year' for his Eclipse performances on journalist Arnaldo DeSouteiro's Blog. Kevin made it into the top 10 for electric bass, and Lincoln made it to the top 10 for soprano sax. Jesse Nichols, our engineer at Fantasy got nominated as well for his excellent recording and mixing of our album. Come on by and celebrate the good press and the New Year with us this Saturday. The Hedley Club Lounge is a beautiful, intimate room. It's a great place to bring a date, have some drinks and appetizers while enjoying the soulful and groovin' sounds of Times 4.
